S-Analyser AQUA 40.00-S-automatic device-Determination of Volatile Hydrogen Sulphide in Ambient Air
The content of H2S in gas samples (for example waste and soil) is determined by coupling a gas extraction method with a H2S selective sensor as detector. The volatile H2S is transported into the detector cell of the AQUA 40.00-S by means of the extraction after acidification. The system consists of modules. The operators can choose and vary different components of the device automation steps. The steps relating to the manual injection of the liquid sample, the acid combined with the automatic emptying of the sample after measurement can be controlled.
The H2S sensor is easy to maintain and has an expected life of 2 years. the measurement time depends on H2S content of the sample (2 to approx 15 mins).
The second picture above, an analysis of a sulphide standard, shows that the extraction of the volatile H2S is effective and completed in a short period. The results have been verified to be repetitive.
The H2S analyser is applicable for for the determination of volatile H2S from waste, drainage water, surface water, crude oil and liquid samples. The user friendly software facilitates opportunities for comparison and interpretation of the results. The device is very compact and easy to handle due to the recirculation of the extraction gas. It can be easily used for routine analysis, sample preparation is not necessary and the consumption of chemicals is low.
There are options to add an Autosampler for a gas extraction module with 36 spaces for samples and an on-line monitoring module.
