IDR – Intelligent Electronic Device Voltage Regulator Monitor

In an increasingly demanding marketfor Quality of Supply, the rules for acceptable supply limits are becoming more stringent.  There is a growing need for tools capable of meeting this reality and ensuringhigh levels of voltage regulation.

Treetech’s New Voltage Regulator Monitor IDR offers a solution that goes beyondthe traditional and well-known single phase and three phase regulator bank controllers. The IDR is designed with unprecedented resources in order to afford enhanced control of load voltage limits, meetingthe most stringent requirements.

Main Features:

• Applicable to Single Phase Voltage Regulators operating in single or bank mode;
• IED (Intelligent Electronic Device), suited for integration in supervision or monitoring systems through RS485 port (Modbus standard, DNP optional).
• Independent activation times for voltage above or below the range;
• Defined timer types (constant time) or Inverse Curve;
• Compensation for line drop by adjustments for Resistance and Reactance or by the simplified voltage drop percentage method (compensation Z);
• Independent Relays for Tap Changer control, in bank or single phase mode. Six dry contacts;
• Multi-measurement function: voltage readings for source and load side, deviation of voltage, current, active, reactive and apparent  power, load %, power factor and frequency, image CT and PT when calculated, phase-ground voltage, neutral-ground connection status, direction of power flow;
• PT/ CT phase difference adjustable from 0 to 330º, allowing any type of PT/CT connection;
• Blocking of regulator in event of over-current or under-voltage. Selectable activation in case of over-voltage: block of LTC or quick voltage reduction;
• VFD type display, with high contrast, readable in any lighting and temperature conditions.
• Operating temperature range: -40…+85 °C;
• Universal Power Supply, 38 a 265 Vdc/Vac 50/60 Hz;
• Settings with password lock;
• Settings maintained for extended periods in event of failure of power supply. No batteries are used – maintenance-free device;
• Electrical connections to IDR through detachable connectors
• Small size (96x96x125mm), allowing easy installation in new or existing panels.
